Our Tasmanian Laboratory
This laboratory offers a comprehensive range of routine and emergency pathology services.
The Gribbles Pathology laboratory is centrally situated on the 2nd floor at St Helen’s Private Hospital in Hobart and is ideally placed to meet the needs of doctors and the local private hospital.
We provide personal attention to match the requirements of our doctors and the hospitals, as well as assisting in the rapid turnaround of pathology results.
Dr Matthew Egan oversees the Hobart Laboratory. He is supported by our national group of specialist pathologists and a team of highly qualified staff.
Our laboratory staff are graduate scientists and technicians of a high academic and technical standard who provide comprehensive service onsite.
Our onsite services include:
- Urgent tests and blood banking available 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- A comprehensive range of routine Biochemistry, Haematology, Blood Banking, Coagulation and Microbiology
